Associate Technical Specialist

Join our Enterprise Technology Services team!

We are seeking an Associate Technical Specialist to collaborate with our team! Our team is responsible for the delivery of all technology infrastructure services worldwide.

We are looking for a candidate with a proven technical background and experience in audio and video production. This involves tasks such as scheduling, equipment setup, and operating cameras, lights, and audio equipment. They will also have in-depth knowledge of various systems, platforms, services, hardware/software, and technologies related to sound and imagery!

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support the production of live-streams and events. (Virtual and Onsite)

  • Monitor complex and high-visibility meetings.

  • Respond to special critical issues for high-priority meeting support.

  • Resolve meeting scheduling and room reservation issues.

  • Assist with testing of virtual meeting and audio/video equipment during new room setups and relocations.

  • Respond to support requests received via ticketing system, email, and SMS alerts.

  • Fix and resolve technical issues related to conferencing set-up and audiovisual equipment.

  • Participate in the development and implementation of new Meeting Technology and audiovisual initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Television, Broadcasting, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated ability in a technical support or technical customer service position.

  • Demonstrated ability with implementation, administration, and support of audiovisual and other broadcast technologies.

  • Familiarity with video conferencing and other related hardware and software.

  • Experience with video recording/streaming solutions, video and audio editing, and production.

  • Knowledge of networking and video/VoIP protocols and their implementation.

  • Experience with resolving systemic and end-user issues in a VoIP/video network in a customer-facing environment.

Salary range is expected to be between

$62,850.00 CAD - $104,750.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
