Role Purpose

The Associate Specialist, Government Relations, supports the organization in monitoring policy developments, coordinating stakeholder engagement activities, and promoting constructive relationships with government and external entities. The role also contributes to communication and public relations initiatives that enhance the organization’s reputation and visibility.

Key Responsibilities

1. Policy Monitoring & Research

  • Monitor government policy changes, draft regulations, and strategic national development plans.
  • Conduct research and prepare reports to inform internal stakeholders of potential impacts.
  • Support internal planning and compliance efforts based on emerging policy developments.

2. Stakeholder Relationship Management

  • Maintain and expand relationships with government agencies, educational institutions, industry associations, and private partners.
  • Represent the organization at external coordination meetings, forums, networking sessions, and events when required.

3. Event Coordination

  • Support planning and logistics for official visits, conferences, exhibitions, seminars, and engagement activities.
  • Prepare briefing notes, agendas, presentation materials, and meeting documentation.

4. Cooperation & Communication

  • Serve as a point of contact to ensure smooth communication between the organization and external parties.
  • Support timely and accurate response to requests for information, documentation, or coordination.

5. Public Relations Support

  • Assist in developing content, communication materials, and company good view initiatives.
  • Help maintain communication channels that support positive public perception of the organization.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in political science, Public Policy, International Relations, Business, Communications, or related field
  • 0–2 years in government relations, corporate affairs, university relations, public policy, CSR, or relevant functions
  • Stakeholder engagement, communication, coordination, research & analysis, presentation
  • Strong command of Thai and English (written and spoken)
  • Professional, detail-oriented, diplomatic, proactive, and able to work with diverse stakeholders
