Wij hebben een interessante vacature voor een Marine Operator binnen het Site Logistics Team in Terneuzen, Nederland.

De Marine Operator binnen Site Logistics Hydrocarbons (SLHC) is een volcontinue baan. In deze rol is men medeverantwoordelijk voor het veilig en efficient laden- en lossen van schepen op de verschillende dokken op de Terneuzen site.

In deze rol ben je verantwoordelijk voor veilige, betrouwbare en efficiënte plantoperaties in lijn met de Operating Discipline. Deze bewaakt en optimaliseert procescondities, voert operationele controles uit, verhelpt afwijkingen en draagt actief bij aan continue verbetering. De Marine Operator ondersteunt daarnaast training, crisisrespons en scheepsoperaties, inclusief vergunningverlening en verschepingsdocumentatie.

Deze rol omvat werkzaamheden op het Braakman Dock, de Schelde Dock en de Ocean Dock.

Verantwoordelijkheden

• Volgt principes, procedures en werkwijzen uit de Operating Discipline om er voor te zorgen dat de hem/haar toegewezen plantsecties veilig en efficiënt werken. Gebruikt kennis en ervaring om de resultaten van de plant en de Operating Discipline te verbeteren.
• Kennis hebben en het juist invullen van de benodigde kritische procedures voor het laden en lossen van de schepen.
• Bedient procesapparatuur en voert controles uit in de plant. Houd proces condities, apparatuur en regelsystemen bij. Bewaakt en verzamelt relevante plant metingen en maakt (werkt actief mee aan) voorstellen ter verbetering.
• Voert werkzaamheden uit die via de takenlijst in OPD toegewezen zijn. Bijvoorbeeld: controle rondes, gereedzetten van apparatuur, het nemen van monsters enz.
• Communiceert op een duidelijke en rustige manier met Scheepsagenten, scheepsbemanning etc.
• Geeft training en coaching op het gebied van de operatie van de plant.
• Voert Crisis Response activiteiten uit die door de Crisis Response leider worden toegewezen.
• Begrijpt en past de regelgeving toe welke betrekking heeft op Veiligheid, Gezondheid en Milieu.
• Geeft de meer eenvoudige vergunningen uit (o.a. voor steigerbouw, isolatie, schilderen en klasse 2 heetwerk actviteiten).

Opleiding

• MBO-4 processtechniek of een soortgelijke relevante technische opleiding
• Werkervaring in een productieomgeving is een pre.
• Goede interpersoonlijke en communicatieve vaardigheden.

Vaardigheden

• Proactief problemen oplossen – Anticipeert op en lost routinematige operationele maritieme problemen op door omstandigheden te monitoren, afwijkingen te signaleren en vastgestelde procedures toe te passen om escalatie te voorkomen.
• Gevaarlijke stoffen – Gaat veilig om met gevaarlijke stoffen en ondersteunt het maritieme transport ervan door vastgestelde procedures, wettelijke vereisten en veiligheidsnormen te volgen.
• Supply Chain Operations – Voert maritieme logistieke activiteiten uit ter ondersteuning van een veilige, betrouwbare en efficiënte materiaalstroom over de verschillende dokken, in lijn met de operating discipline en supplychain‑vereisten.
• Logistieke operaties – Voert veilige, betrouwbare en efficiënte maritieme logistieke activiteiten uit, zoals het laden en lossen van schepen, in lijn met de operating discipline om ononderbroken site‑operaties te ondersteunen.
• Veiligheid en gezondheid op het werk – Past operating discipline en veiligheidsprocedures toe om maritieme logistieke activiteiten veilig uit te voeren, waarbij risico’s worden geïdentificeerd en gecorrigeerd ter bescherming van mensen, middelen en het milieu.
• Samenwerken – Werkt nauw samen met collega’s binnen site logistics en andere functies om veilige, gecoördineerde en ononderbroken maritieme operaties te waarborgen door duidelijke communicatie en wederzijdse ondersteuning.
• Mondelinge communicatie – Communiceert duidelijk en tijdig operationele en veiligheidskritische informatie tijdens maritieme activiteiten, ploegoverdrachten en afwijkingen om veilige en gecoördineerde site‑operaties te garanderen.
