Job Description Summary
The Associate Retail Support Specialist supports the commercial Retail organization by ensuring the efficient tracking of customer contracts, trade spend programs, CRM data, and customer portal systems. This role serves as a liaison between Sales, Finance, and Customer Service teams, helping to maintain accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness across all sales operations’ functions. The ideal candidate brings a sales-minded and growth-oriented approach, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance processes, strengthen collaboration, and drive commercial performance.
Job Description
Customer Contract Execution
Maintain customer pricing, trade terms, and promotional agreements within internal and external systems
Coordinate information requests from customers with cross functional partners to maintain and update customer forms (Contracts for Promotions, New Item Forms, Private Label forms, price updates)
Ensure contract accuracy, compliance, and timely renewals or amendments.
Partner with Sales, Finance, and Customer Service to support contract setup, renewals, deductions, and audits.
Track and document all trade commitments to ensure compliance and transparency.
Assist finance settlement team to ensure claims are processed timely and accurately.
CRM Data Hygiene
Maintain clean, accurate customer and account data within the CRM system (Salesforce)
Maintain clean, accurate Trade and Promotion information within Trade System (MEI)
Enforce data governance processes to support reliable reporting and forecasting.
Support CRM reporting and dashboard development to enable commercial insights.
Customer Portal Management
Oversee customer portal functionality and accuracy, ensuring product, pricing, and promotional data are up to date.
Support customer onboarding and portal access administration.
Collaborate with IT and Customer Service to troubleshoot issues and implement system enhancements.
Drive adoption of digital tools and resources to improve the customer experience.
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years related experience required; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales or Business preferred.
1-3 years related experience preferred. Previous sales or sales operations experience preferred.
Strong customer service orientation with ability to professionally and effectively influence/persuade customers to purchase products.
Ability to multitask and manage several projects at once – meeting all deliverables associated with the projects.
Ability to use a variety of computer technologies and tools, including Microsoft Suite, Demand Tec, MEI, Salesforce
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Limited travel required.
