We actively seek a Associate QA Engineer, SAP MM resident anywhere in Brazil.

Position Summary

The Associate QA Engineer, SAP MM is responsible for executing and supporting Quality Assurance activities for SAP initiatives in Brazil, with focus on Materials Management processes.

This is a hands-on role focused on test execution, validation of business scenarios, and collaboration with cross-regional teams. The Associate QA Engineer will work closely with Brazil and India teams to ensure alignment of testing activities, timelines, and quality expectations.

The role supports Tax & Regulatory driven initiatives and ensures high-quality deliverables through structured test execution and collaboration with functional and technical teams.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Cross-Regional Coordination

  • Support QA activities across Brazil and India teams
  • Align with global teams on testing priorities and deliverables
  • Follow defined QA standards and processes
  • Support knowledge sharing across regions

Test Strategy & Planning

  • Execute test cases based on functional specifications and user stories
  • Support creation and refinement of test scenarios
  • Validate Procure-to-Pay processes across different scenarios
  • Execute SIT and regression testing cycles
  • Support UAT activities when required
  • Identify and document defects, ensuring proper tracking to closure
  • Support validation of integration points with FI and SD modules

Hands-On SAP Testing

  • Validate procurement processes
  • Validate inventory and material movements
  • Validate integration scenarios across modules Execute functional testing across multiple environments Support retesting and validation of fixes

Tax & Regulatory Support

  • Support validation of SAP updates related to Brazilian tax and regulatory requirements
  • Work closely with Business Analysts and Developers to ensure test accuracy
  • Validate business-driven scenarios based on client environments

Agile / Kanban Collaboration

  • Participate in backlog refinement and story discussions
  • Align QA execution with development activities
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives

Quality Support

  • Ensure test execution quality and completeness
  • Support defect analysis and resolution cycles
  • Follow QA best practices and standards
  • Contribute to consistency across testing activities

Testing Governance / Structure

  • Experience with test planning and test case design (test scenarios, test scripts)
  • Knowledge of test documentation and evidence management
  • Understanding of defect lifecycle and incident management

Integration & End-to-End Validation

  • Experience validating end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes
  • Experience validating integrations between MM, FI, and SD

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Location

  • Brazil
  • Ability to travel to Sao Paulo Office, as required

Experience

  • 0-2 years of experience with SAP applications
  • functional expertise in SAP MM
  • Experience in SAP integration scenarios
  • Experience with functional testing activities
  • Experience working with distributed teams is a plus
  • Experience in Tax & Regulatory driven updates is desirable
  • Agile/Kanban experience preferred

  • SAP MM functional knowledge
  • Understanding of Procure-to-Pay processes

  • JIRA experience preferred
  • Fluent Portuguese and professional English
