BASIC FUNCTION:     

Teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students; conduct and disseminate original peer-reviewed research; serve the department, college, and university;

SUPERVISORY ACCOUNTABILITY:    

Involves no responsibility or authority for the direction of others.

NATURE AND SCOPE:

Internal contacts include students, faculty, the department chair, and other administrators, when relevant. External contacts include students and the general public.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:         

Actively participate in Department’s teaching and mentoring of undergraduate and graduate students; serve the department, college, and university; conduct and disseminate original research

CORE COMPETENCIES:        

Effective pedagogical skills, ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing); ability to conduct original research in their field.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:       

Minimum of a PhD or terminal degree, in area appointed.

SALARY RANGE: $90,000-110,000
