What is the Opportunity?

We are looking for an Associate, Product Management – Liquidity Solutions to join our growing team within RBC’s Cash Management division. In this role, you will support the development and delivery of our Liquidity product suite, helping us meet the needs of our global client base. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams, including Technology, Operations, Go-to-Market, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Sales, to assist in creating innovative solutions and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Liquidity Solutions, you will play a key role in supporting product development initiatives and contributing to the future roadmap of Liquidity Solutions.

What will you do?

  • Assist in Product Development: Support the development and enhancement of Liquidity Solutions, including Liquidity Management, Time Deposits, Tokenized Deposits, and hybrid solutions.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure effective integration and alignment with business goals.
  • Support Research and Analysis: Gather and analyze client feedback to help identify product use cases and business requirements.
  • Maintain Product Backlog: Assist in creating, refining, and prioritizing user stories and maintaining an organized product backlog.
  • Support Go-to-Market Activities: Contribute to the preparation and execution of product launches, rollouts, and other deployment activities.
  • Participate in Communication Planning: Help draft materials and support communication strategies related to product development and deployment.

What do you need to succeed?

Qualifications

  • 2 – 4 years of experience in the financial industry, preferably in Cash Management, Corporate Banking, Capital Markets, or Transaction Banking.
  • Basic understanding of Liquidity Solutions, such as Time Deposits, Cash Concentration, or Tokenized Deposits.
  • Familiarity with agile development processes, including creating and managing user stories or backlogs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and collaborate effectively.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience using tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies and trends in digital banking.
  • Ability to adapt to new challenges and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Self-motivated and eager to learn, with a strong desire to develop skills in product management.

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $XXX - $XXX depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.  This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.

Pay Range

The expected pay range for this position is:

$90,000.00 - $135,000.00
