Summary:
The New York Mets are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive, and team-driven Associate Producer to support the Game Presentation team. The Associate Producer, Game Presentation serves as the senior creative partner to the Executive Producer for all in-game entertainment at Citi Field. This Director-level position leads the creative development, planning, and production of live and video content shown on the ballpark’s videoboards and digital displays. The role combines creative vision with production expertise to deliver an engaging, seamless fan experience that reflects the New York Mets brand and drives sponsorship value.
The Associate Producer, Game Presentation restores the creative backbone of Citi Field’s live entertainment operation. Working alongside the Executive Producer, this role ensures that every game reflects the passion, energy, and excellence of the Mets brand—turning moments on the field into lasting memories for fans.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Creative Development & Production Leadership
Partner with the Executive Producer to establish the creative direction, tone, and storytelling approach for the Mets’ in-game presentation
Lead concept development, scripting, and production of new in-game features, scoreboard opens, hype videos, and special content
Collaborate with Marketing, Promotions & Gameday Events, and Partnerships to integrate themes, giveaways, and sponsor activations into the show
Collaborate with Content & Design teams on all creative requests, including graphics, feature animations, video creation and edit, and other content as needed. Own the process from writing of content creation briefs through quality control on finished assets
Manage creative assets and maintain consistency across all Citi Field LED and IPTV platforms
Supervise the creative workflow for game-day content, ensuring timely completion of all pre-produced and live elements
Game-Day Execution & Direction
Support the Executive Producer (Showcaller) during games, ensuring that all creative and promotional elements are executed as intended
Communicate with the Director (control room), stage managers, and camera operators to align on show flow and production timing
Review and approve content before it airs; ensure all videos, graphics, and sponsor deliverables meet brand and technical standards
Assist with scripting and run-of-show creation in coordination with the Manager, Game Presentation
Serve as on-site producer for select advanced live executions, ensuring that gameday employees such as on-cam talent and camera operators are in position for success
Collaboration & Leadership
Serve as a creative mentor to Game Presentation staff, helping to elevate storytelling, design, and overall production value
Partner closely with internal departments (Marketing, Partnerships, Promotions, Heritage, Hospitality, etc.) to develop integrated content that enhances both the fan experience and corporate objectives
Liaise with external vendors, agencies, and freelance creatives for specialized projects or event features
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Monitor social and online trends, ballpark entertainment innovations, and fan engagement technologies
Propose and execute new creative concepts that differentiate Citi Field’s in-game experience
Lead post-game creative reviews to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Film/Video Production, Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or related field
7+ years of experience in live event production, broadcast, or creative content development
Proven track record of creative leadership within sports or entertainment venues
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop) and broadcast production tools
Strong understanding of LED and control-room workflows
Excellent communication, project management, and collaboration skills
Ability to work nights, weekends, and all Mets home games or major ballpark events

Salary Range: $125,000 - $140,000
