Your Role: Manufacturing Associate
As a Bio Process Scientist, you will be part of the Technical Services & Manufacturing Sciences (TS/MS) team supporting vaccine manufacturing at the Fort Dodge site. In this role, you will drive process understanding, solve complex manufacturing challenges, and support technology transfer and commercialization across a diverse portfolio of animal health products.
Your Responsibilities:
• Provide frontline process support by analyzing variability, improving processes, and ensuring manufacturing performance
• Lead root cause investigations and own process-related deviations, CAPAs, and change controls
• Support and execute technology transfers, ensuring robust and compliant implementation
• Develop and maintain batch records, process documentation, and SAP-related material planning models
• Design and execute experiments (DOE), analyze data, and implement improvements based on statistical findings
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent technical experience
• Experience: Experience in manufacturing, process development, or regulated environments preferred
• Top 2 skills: Strong analytical/problem-solving capability + ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications):
• Experience in biologics, vaccine, or pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Knowledge of cGMP environments and process control strategies
• Experience with statistical tools, DOE, and data analysis
• Ability to lead investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA
• Familiarity with SAP or manufacturing systems and documentation practices
