Associate Manager, Procurement

As the Associate Manager, Procurement, you will be responsible for purchasing management of raw materials for external manufacturers (EMs) in ASEAN markets. You will be responsible for procurement delivery results in terms of Cost Saving, New Product Development (NPD), Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) and ensure quality compliance with SC Johnson (SCJ) standards. Your role includes of ideation, analysis, recommendation to execution of procurement works for EMs to in line with Regional as well as Global Strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Apply best practice of procurement processes and deliverable
• Understand raw material markets, cost structure, correlation, and key players to leverage the negotiation with suppliers
• Collaborate to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, regional purchase community as well as diversity managers in each kind of raw materials
• Tracking supplier's Key Performance Indicator (KPI) and developing supplier capability to meet SCJ requirements
• Participate and lead in negotiations with suppliers and ensure appropriate commercial agreements are put in place to secure supply
• Provide prices for all cost study to support price simulation project and NPD related
• SAP transaction and procedures compliance
• Follow sustainability and diversity of SCJ guidelines and implement appropriately

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

• Bachelor's in Engineering or related fields
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in procurement, preferably in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry
• Ability to lead and conduct system improvements to drive greater effectiveness at a regional level
• Solid stakeholders and vendors management experience
