Job Description:

The Associate Manager of Inside Account Managers is responsible for leading a team of inside account managers to achieve revenue and profitability goals. This role partners closely with senior leadership to align strategies, refine sales processes, and optimize operational efficiency. The position requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a customer-centric approach to drive growth and ensure long-term client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead and mentor a team of inside sales representatives and/or supervisors to meet revenue and expense targets.

    • Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to enhance team performance.

  • Strategic Alignment:

    • Collaborate with management to ensure team objectives align with broader business and sales strategies.

    • Implement process improvements and refine sales approaches to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Customer Engagement:

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing needs and resolving concerns promptly.

    • Act as an escalation point for complex customer issues, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.

  • Sales Execution:

    • Support the team in achieving sales goals through call strategy optimization, market insights, and outbound campaigns.

    • Identify and pursue opportunities within the installed base and new markets.

  • Performance Management:

    • Monitor and report on team performance, highlighting progress, challenges, and opportunities for growth.

    • Track KPIs and ensure accountability for achieving quotas and objectives.

  • Talent Development:

    • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and training initiatives to build a strong talent pipeline.

    • Conduct performance evaluations and support career advancement within the team.

  • Market Intelligence:

    • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

    • Share insights with the team to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; or equivalent work experience.

  • 4–7 years of relevant experience, including 2–4 years in a management role within inside sales, telesales, or a related discipline.

Salary:

The on-target earnings (OTE) range for this role is $88,400 to $128,000 annually, with a 60/40 (salary/incentive) mix [Input the correct salary/incentive mix numbers based on the role]. There are additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only).  Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
