Associate Manager, Data Scientist

What you’ll do

This Associate Manager, Data Scientist (Measurement & Analytics) will generate advanced customer insights and advertising measurement outputs, while helping inform the future data science roadmap for Triangle Retail Media. You’ll move seamlessly between generating insights and building advanced data science models, developing repeatable, scalable tools for insights creation, and leveraging AI applications to deliver advanced outputs and process efficiencies. You will represent the measurement team in a larger client-facing “pods” (which includes Sales, Accounts, Media Planning and Ad Operations), helping you see first-hand the impact of your outputs on client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary insights and measurement support for multiple TRM sales pods.

  • Manage day-to-day project delivery: assign tasks, monitor timelines for insights creation, audience development, and report output.

  • Support Analyst-level team members with complex reports and analyses.

  • Review and QA insights and measurement outputs, ensuring actionable learnings.

  • Contribute to TRM’s data science and measurement roadmap, including media measurement (attribution and incrementality), predictive models, and customer insights.

  • Collaborate with data scientists and external contractors to enhance model scalability, accuracy, and feature tuning.

  • Triage ad hoc requests and escalate blockers to the Manager.

  • Identify process improvements and simplify visuals and workflows.

  • Maintain consistent templates, documentation, and runbooks for pre- and post-campaign processes.

  • Liaise with Data Engineering to prioritize pipelines and fixes.

What You Bring

  • 4–5 years of experience in Data Science or Marketing Analytics.

  • Strong SQL and BigQuery proficiency.

  • Power BI authoring skills (DAX basics or advanced preferred), including report optimization and publishing.

  • Experience building and maintaining BI tools.

  • Comfortable scripting in Python for ETL and automation.

  • Advanced Statistics Knowledge, and Experience in Designing Experiments

  • Proven ability to generate customer insights and marketing outputs.

  • Direct media/marketing experience is a strong asset.

  • Familiarity with marketing technology is an asset.

  • Personal accountability for client campaign outcomes.

  • Openness to leveraging technology and AI for automation and efficiency.

Our typical hiring range is between $64,000.00 and $106,000.00 per annum. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
