We're looking for a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as an Associate Key Account Manager, to have real impact and bring Forever Caring to life.
In this role, you'll play a key part in sales department, working alongside a dynamic team that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous growth.
Your key responsibilities will include:
1) Achieving business results (Sales, Market Share)
• Achieving territory business results
• Implement new products and strategic brands listing in key account hospitals
• Negotiate sales agreements within organizational policy guidelines.
• Managing medical centers tender and pricing related activities including
compiling, vetting and submitting tender planning and completing key account
hospital listing
• Provide technical advice / product education to both customers and fellow
colleagues.
• Business to business representation at key local events.
• Review and analyze key account sales, to monitor sales achievements and
identify shared issues/opportunities across specific accounts and territories to
lead the strategy & action plans.
• Complete and submit all reports (SFE, sales review, customer, key account
situation and expenses etc) within the time requested by manager.
2) Model accountability and commitment to our customers and our colleagues through teamwork
• Desire for continual learning in our product range, our competitors products
and keeping abreast of current standards of care in the marketplace.
• Stay informed and keep the company informed of Convatec’s market position
and other business Unit opportunities as they arise.
• Develops trust through ethical and consistent behaviour.
3) Cultivates Strong Business Relationships
• Establishes close relationships with key decision makers and influencers at
key accounts and utilises those relationships to strengthen a competitive
position and performance;
• Establishes, develops and maintains ongoing relationships with customers and key opinion leaders.
4) Other responsibilities as required.
To be successful you will:
• Excellent sales skills and product knowledge;
• Negotiation skills – contract/tender experience;
• Excellent organizational and planning skills;
• Excellent communication skills – oral, written and presentation;
• Able to identify and articulate sales opportunities and risks;
• Able to develop and implement account plans and strategies to achieve sales
objectives;
• Comprehensive business knowledge inc key account management;
• Strong Team player – motivator;
• Proficient (Intermediate) in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint);
