This role follows a hybrid work model which consists of 4 days in office per week. Additionally, you will receive 5 additional remote days per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval.
We are looking to hire an Associate/Analyst in our Investor Relations team in Seoul.
The ideal candidate is someone who has:
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize timelines, and pay attention to detail at the same time in a fast-paced multi work-thread environment.
Proactive communicator and team player with proven effectiveness in working with teams across geographies and time zones.
Ability to think strategically and critically to suggest solutions to problems as a junior team member and advocate for the firm’s initiatives and goals.
Strong sense of responsibility and maturity as one of the growing junior members of a professional firm
Networking ability potential in building and maintaining relationships across clients, prospects, and various business counterparts internally and externally.
What you will do:
Actively support the continuous development of client accounts in Korea.
Strengthen the firm’s various types of interactions with existing clients.
Support the Seoul IR team’s various work in the fundraising cycle from managing pipeline of fundraising opportunities, RFPs, client questionnaires, presentations, due diligence to client onboarding.
Support client service activities in Korea by working closely with the entire global client relations team to deliver best-in-class service.
Regularly liaise with members of various teams across global offices including Investor Relations, Marketing, Client Service, Compliance, Investment teams, and others to stay abreast of firm updates and initiatives that are relevant and helpful to acquiring and servicing Korean clients.
Support the preparation and execution of various marketing events in Korea including HarbourVest-hosted webcasts, seminars, investor training, and coordinate sponsorships to industry conferences.
Actively share market and competitor intelligence and client feedback to relevant internal teams to help our teams build and develop our businesses.
What you bring:
Analytics and research skills and Microsoft Office skills
Strong attention to details and execution ability to maintain high quality answers and services by effectively balancing internal resources and external expectations.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Korean and English
Strong presentation skills especially in relation to promoting and marketing private market solutions to Korean prospects.
Education Preferred
Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Science (B.S) or equivalent experience
Experience
2-6 years’ experience in marketing or sales departments preferably in industries related to alternative investments
