Purpose of the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic candidate with a proven track record in Regional Transaction Banking Sales to add to our existing team’s

In your role as Associate, you will join the Global Corporate Transaction Banking Sales team providing expertise across Cash & Liquidity Management and Trade & Supply Chain Finance. You will work in close partnership with Regional Coverage teams to identify and develop business opportunities and drive sales initiatives for their focus client portfolio.

Reporting to the Head of Department for GCST, you will contribute to the delivery of regional sales targets through proactive pitching and execution of regional cash and trade solutions to the Bank’s multinational clients through supporting a portfolio of FI/NBFI and MNC corporate clients

The individual must be able to demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills as well as a strong sales mindset. He/she must have direct experience leading conversations with large multinational corporates, preferably at a top global transaction bank.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support the development of effective relationships with key customers to capture new business and to deliver a high quality of sales service
  • Continuous proactive client engagement to understand their changing Working Capital and Liquidity need and find solutions to support these treasury objectives
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in Cash Management and/or Trade Finance Product Sales to management
  • Work in partnership with various teams in the Bank (including Coverage, Product, Operations etc.)  to support in delivering a seamless experience to our clients
  • Prepare presentation material for senior level customers
  • Review all deal proposals to ensure pricing, product offerings and the structuring of the deal is aligned to business strategy, delivers a high quality of service and mitigates risk for the Bank
  • Understand Transaction Banking issues raised by customers and seek commercial solutions to solve the issues
  • Proactively review the performance of the solutions implemented to ensure they meet customer’s expectations
  • Manage the risk profile of the department's portfolio by contributing to pipelining/account planning discussions to select financially healthy customers

Job Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a similar field.
  • Associate - 3 years experience in Transaction Banking - desired

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
