Associate Enterprise Analytics Analyst

Principal Duties

  • Support the mortgage origination process by providing thoughtful, insightful, accurate and timely analytics.
  • Help drive the creation, design, and implementation of new business strategies that streamline current practices and provide additional understanding through data analysis.
  • Demonstrate effective communication and listening skills, focused on conveying new ideas to performance managers and understanding potential obstacles to implementation.
  • Be able to clearly articulate and present ideas and findings to a varied audience including the staff and senior management.
  • Prepare reports with strict adherence to reporting requirements and can partner with other Departments on joint initiatives.
  • Research operational, reporting, or data issues and present solutions or process improvements to management.
  • Provide a high level of customer service and ensure overall investor satisfaction as well as manage score card performance where applicable.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to ever-changing business needs and requirements.
  • Handle ad-hoc reporting or research as directed by management.
  • Ability to present cohesively and confidently to Senior Management regarding project statuses, issues and concerns, recommendations.
  • Collaborate with upper management, internal departments and/or analysts to ensure overall company goals are consistently met.

Education and Experience Requirements  

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience.
  • Experience visualizing data in any of the following: Tableau, PowerBI, R, Python, SSRS, or Excel.
  • Experience with SQL or Snowflake preferred.

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements 

  • Hungry to learn and understand the complexity of the mortgage business.
  • Strong communication skills in order to interact with Senior Management and other business units.
  • Prior work experience performing business, data, and/or statistical analysis is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with an ability to multi-task and respond well to pressure and competing deadlines.
  • Adaptive person – able to assimilate new ideas and thrive in a demanding environment.
