What is the opportunity?

The Trading & Execution Services team within Capital Markets Technology group has recognized the need to elevate its data to first class citizen status, to provide strategic solutions for the capture, retention, analysis and reporting of all transactional data spanning the Capital Market cross-asset front-office trading lifecycle.

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Technical Program Manager to oversee and manage multiple data integration projects involving diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, data integration projects, and the ability to effectively plan, monitor, and execute complex initiatives. This role requires exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills to ensure project success while collaborating with technical teams and senior leadership.

What will you do?

  • Plan, monitor, and execute multiple data integration projects simultaneously.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and deliverables to ensure timely execution.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies to mitigate potential delays.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners, to align on project goals and deliverables.
  • Facilitate communication and coordination among stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
  • Prepare and present detailed status reports, dashboards, and updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Drive weekly status meetings to track progress, discuss challenges, and align on next steps.
  • Lead Steering Committee (SteerCo) meetings with senior leadership to provide project updates, discuss risks, and seek guidance as needed.
  • Understand project deliverables and map dependencies across multiple projects.
  • Assess delays and identify cascading impacts on other project deliverables.
  • Develop and present options to mitigate risks and manage issues effectively.
  • Leverage data integration expertise to understand technical deliverables and collaborate effectively with technical teams.

What do you need to Succeed?
Must have’s:

  • Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent).
  • 10+ yrs of proven experience as a Technical Program Manager or similar role managing complex data integration projects.
  • Exceptional project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess delays, analyze cascading impacts, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Experience preparing detailed status reports and leading status and SteerCo meetings with senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse technical teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with project management tools( e.g JIRA/Confluence) and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches).
  • Ability to drive multiple projects at a time with multiple teams / team members. 
  • Technical background or understanding of data integration technologies is a plus.

Nice to Have’s:

  • Prior knowledge/ experience in Capital Markets domain & knowledge of trade lifecycle
  • Good understanding of data integration concepts and ability to understand architecture of application
  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence to setup boards/ structures etc.
