About the role:

The Sales Operations Transformation role plays a key role in defining the future of sales operations processes and deliverables in a dynamic environment where AI, automation, and technology will play an increasing role in efficiency and effectiveness. You will lead the assessment of current state of Sales Operations processes and deliverables including the field readiness ecosystem (e.g., reports, tools, data) and identify recommendations for future state. You will serve as sales operations PMO for large, cross-functional sales operations initiatives such as product launches and system integrations.

How you will contribute:

  • Provide Sales Operations launch support through PMO of cross functional work, budget coordination, and strategic thought leadership.

  • Drive innovation, evolution, and continuous improvement to streamline the organization, scale up capabilities, and enhance operational efficiency within Sales Operations.

  • Drive partnership with USBU sales force teams, CA&I and DD&T for data needs and changes.

  • Identify and share Sales Operations best practices across business units.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process optimization opportunities.

  • Implement agile, action-oriented measures to quickly achieve impactful results.

  • Act as a strategic project manager to drive innovation and change.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.

  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on project progress, opportunities, risks, and issues.

  • Oversee management of key external vendor relationships. Build two-way vendor partnerships that result in increasing operational efficiencies and better services.

  • Cultivate strategic partnerships to bring in thought leadership while supporting the business, developing the service/technology roadmap, and generating innovative ideas.

  • Embed an agile mindset and spirit of innovation in the team and the way they work.

  • Develop recommendations for how AI, automation, and technology can evolve and enhance Sales Operations services and field force readiness.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Minimum BS/BA degree with MS/MBA preferred in a technical or related field

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical, immunology, biologic/biotech, or medical device industries

  • Project management experience required

  • Management Level Experience preferred

  • Experience working with and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders

  • Proven track record of leading and driving business process transformation and organizational culture change, delivering programs with complex business deliverables, as well as extensive professional experience in project management or strategy consulting

  • Strong analytical skills and budget management experience.

  • Previous organizational change management experience.

  • Ability to demonstrate strategic and critical thinking, as well as problem solving skills

  • Strong organizational, planning and project management skills–ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and develop workflow processes and tasks for multiple projects

  • Track record of successful leadership, management, and development of small to medium, multi-disciplinary dispersed teams.

  • Health care business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical industry

  • Collaborative with cross-functional teams to identify process optimization opportunities.

  • Travel is required for up to one week a month

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$153,600.00 - $241,340.00


The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. 

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives. U.S. based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S. based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
