The Importance of the Role

The Associate Director, Patient & Payer Operations & Analytics supports and enhances the commercial experience for Exondys 51, Vyondys 53, Amondys 45, Elevidys, and future products. The Associate Director oversees ongoing data feeds, maintains and enhances current reporting, leads new report development, and oversees reporting quality. This role works closely with cross-functional partners including finance, distribution, field teams, clinical teams, marketing, market access, diagnostics, and distribution/contracting. The Associate Director assists in triaging issues to the appropriate external and internal parties and interfaces with our Patient CRM and data aggregation partners. This role supports the Patient Services Model, including reimbursement, patient assistance programs, and co-pay assistance programs, and provides decision support where needed across the commercial organization.

The Opportunity to Make a Difference

  • Responsible for ongoing patient and payer reporting and data management for cross-functional partners across the commercial organization. 

  • Acts as the quality lead and technical expert, ensuring that reporting meets best practices and leverages standard, well-defined business rules. 

  • Serves as a subject matter expert for Sarepta’s patient and payer data  

  • Guides the development, testing, and implementation of any updates/changes to the Patient CRM system, data aggregation, or onboarding of new partners, and assesses downstream impacts. 

  • Works with software vendors to integrate any new data feeds, monitors ongoing operations, and is responsible for issue resolution. 

  • Automates and improves business processes for efficiency gains where possible and assists in launch preparations as needed. 

  • Develops new alerting and reporting to support business needs and to monitor program compliance. 

  • Works closely with the reimbursement team and distribution partners to troubleshoot issues and provide a high level of service to internal stakeholders. 

  • Acts in complete and total compliance with all laws, regulations, and Sarepta policies. 

  • Additional responsibilities including project management and decision support as needed to support the U.S. commercial organization. 

More about You

Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred; A degree in general business, health sciences, public health, analytics, or a related field is preferred. 

  • 9+ years of experience with biopharma, with at least 2 years in a patient/market access-focused role. 

  • Advanced SQL and Tableau experience required. 

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized. 

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.

This position is hybrid, you will be expected to work on site at one of Sarepta’s facilities in the United States and/or attend Company-sponsored in-person events from time to time.

The targeted salary range for this position is $156,000 - $195,000 per year. Sarepta is making a good faith effort to be transparent and accurate around our hiring ranges. The salary offer is commensurate with Sarepta’s compensation philosophy and considers factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, external market conditions, criticality of role, and internal equity.
