As an Associate Director of Marketing, Oncology, you will play a pivotal role in driving our commercial goals and encouraging a high-performance culture while working closely with cross-functional and cross-regional stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of the local country brand plan.

As an Associate Director of Marketing, a typical day might include the following:

  • Developing and leading brand marketing strategy in Canada, ensuring alignment with global brand strategy, functional plans, and budget.
  • Leading the local country brand planning process, including competitive landscape analysis, identifying key promotional opportunities, and crafting customer-focused and differentiated messaging for target audiences.
  • Partnering with local cross-functional teams to create and align on brand strategy and activities.
  • Analyzing drivers and barriers of brand performance (e.g., share of voice, market dynamics, competitive actions) and developing actions to address opportunities or risks.
  • Owning the development and execution of external stakeholder engagement plans (e.g., national congresses, HCP meetings) in coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Adapting global promotional materials to meet local rules and regulations, and when necessary, creating local promotional materials in line with brand plans for sales force use.
  • Collaborating with the Sales Director to develop and execute the field Plan of Action, national/regional sales meeting execution, and field communications.
  • Managing the local country promotional budget and ensuring spend aligns with the approved budget.
  • Maintaining the highest ethical and compliance standards personally and across the marketing team.
  • Reporting any potential safety information, including special situations, adverse events, and product quality complaints, for Regeneron-marketed products in accordance with company procedures and Canadian laws.

To be considered for this opportunity, you must have a Bachelor’s degree (science background preferred) with 10+ years of biotech/pharma brand marketing experience, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.

With strong communication, planning, prioritization, and presentation skills, you also have an expertise in managing agencies & suppliers and a deep knowledge of Canadian healthcare compliance codes and regulations related to promotional activities.
