The Associate Director, Internal Communications supports the management and advancement of BeOne’s internal communications strategy. This role is responsible for ensuring employees are informed, engaged and aligned with the Company’s business priorities, narrative and culture.
Blending strategy and hands-on execution, this role helps guide the vision for internal communications while personally delivering high-impact storytelling, messaging and employee engagement programs. The Associate Director of Internal Communications ensures consistent, clear and compelling messaging across all global internal channels, and is a key partner to leadership and cross-functional teams, shaping communications that support change, engagement and culture in a fast-paced environment.
The Associate Director, Internal Communications and Employee Engagement is a strategic, motivated, and talented communicator with an enterprise mindset and ability to influence without authority.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Develop and execute comprehensive internal communications strategies, campaigns and resources to advance the BeOne narrative and positively influence employee perception and engagement.
Work closely with BeOne Corporate Affairs team to plan for and prioritize relevant news flow for company-wide visibility, ensuring messaging is aligned to the enterprise and internal communications strategy and best practice.
Drive the creation and distribution of content across various channels, including town halls, Company intranet, digital signage, and other internal digital platforms.
Own and manage the Company intranet landing page; Curate, create, and maintain content for company updates, leadership messages, storytelling, events and key employee resources.
Continuously improve the digitalized employee experience through content governance, UX best practices and ongoing optimization of the company's intranet.
Serve as the Corporate Affairs lead for the Company’s intranet optimization; Own the communications strategy, implementation, launch, and ongoing content governance.
Lead and manage annual global employee engagement award program, working closely with leadership and functional partners on socialization, communication planning, nomination and selection processes, and end-of-year event.
Support the Corporate Affairs Digital Center of Excellence with internal communications input for key dashboards and analytics tracking engagement and other relevant KPIs; Use insights and metrics to refine internal communications strategies and improve effectiveness over time.
Harness the power of digital enablement, including AI, to improve efficiency and the quality of the work the team delivers.
Initiate and run all projects with an enterprise mindset.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, organizational communications or related field
8+ years of progressive communications experience with significant leadership responsibility
Demonstrated success supporting internal communications for a global organization, preferably in healthcare or pharmaceuticals
Exceptional strategic thinking and ability to translate business strategy into communications approaches
Proven track record managing complex communications challenges and crisis situations
Strong understanding of digital communications and evolving media landscape
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Ability to operate effectively in a complex, global organization
Deep understanding of the bio-tech industry, regulatory environment, and stakeholder landscape
