Associate Director – Growth is responsible for driving customer satisfaction, retention, and growth across an assigned portfolio of 2-5 customers while leading and developing a team of 8-10 Customer Growth Executives. This role combines hands-on account management with leadership responsibilities, ensuring consistent performance, operational excellence, and cross-team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Management Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction, retention, and growth through proactive engagement.
  • Strategic Account Planning Develop and execute tailored strategies for each customer in your portfolio. Guide and coach CGEs to design and implement strategies for their customers, setting the standard by leading through example.
  • Team Leadership and Coaching Provide daily guidance, mentorship, and support to CGEs. Conduct regular 1:1 meetings, performance check-ins, and create individual development plans. Proactively address performance issues and foster continuous growth.
  • Operational Excellence Ensure consistent quality and service delivery across all customer interactions and sales processes. Monitor KPIs, identify inefficiencies, and partner with the Squad Lead to create and implement corrective action plans.
  • Collaboration Work closely with Sales, Product, Marketing, Support, other CGEs, and key stakeholders to align strategies and ensure team performance.
  • Team Capacity & Resource Planning Manage workload distribution to ensure optimal resource allocation. Partner with Squad Leads and line managers on hiring needs and onboarding, supporting long-term business continuity.
  • Reporting & Insights Track and report on customer health, growth potential, satisfaction, and team performance. Leverage data and insights to drive informed decision-making and share updates with leadership and stakeholders.
  • Culture & Engagement Champion a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team culture that supports both individual and organizational success.

Main goals of this person will be: 

  • People performance - this is one of the main focus points/goals. Clear expectations aligned with Sales Director and SLs would be main driver for the performance assessment. 
  • Operational excellence: KPIs, pipeline, support team utilization, product/process and general knowledge monitoring. 
  • Strategic Account Planning supported by Business Reviews and clear relationship expansion plan across target departments
