ASG Digital Business Hub

Role Overview

The Associate Director - Digital Growth & Capabilities will play a pivotal role in the ASG Digital Business Hub, focusing on driving digital business growth through innovative marketing strategies and creative technology solutions. This position is responsible for shaping and executing the digital roadmap, piloting new tools and technologies, and fostering a culture of digital excellence within ASG by actively drawing from a cross-industry network of digital leaders and best practices.

Key Responsibilities & Focus Areas

  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive digital growth strategies aligned with ASG's overarching business objectives, leveraging emerging trends. Regularly benchmark against digital leaders in various industries outside of Pharma to identify breakthrough approaches and opportunities.
  • Lead the exploration, assessment, and piloting of new creative technologies and digital tools to enhance ASG’s marketing and sales capabilities and business model, drawing inspiration from sectors such as tech, media, and e-commerce.
  • Support the creation and evolution of ASG’s digital business model, collaborating with cross-functional teams and incorporating learnings from innovative business models found in leading organizations.
  • Drive the upskilling and capability building of teams by introducing digital best practices from across industries, fostering a learning environment, and ensuring the adoption of advanced marketing technologies.
  • Partner with key internal and external stakeholders—including those with diverse industry backgrounds—to ensure alignment on digital initiatives and champion a customer-centric, data-informed approach.
  • Lead change management efforts associated with digital transformation, ensuring smooth adoption and integration of new tools and processes, and referencing successful transformation methods from other sectors.

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience in digital marketing, sales strategy, creative technology, or digital transformation, preferably across industries beyond Pharma.
  • Strong strategic skills with a proven ability to drive business growth through innovative digital strategies informed by diverse industry insights.
  • Demonstrated curiosity and expertise in emerging digital tools and technologies, with successful pilots across sectors.
  • Leader who can influence stakeholders, manage cross-functional teams, and foster cross-industry collaboration.
  • Analytical thinker, adept at using data and analytics to optimize marketing and guide decisions, drawing on best practices from outside Pharma.
  • Exceptional communicator, able to explain complex digital concepts to various audiences.
  • Creative, proactive problem-solver who leverages external perspectives to drive digital innovation.
