DESCRIPTION:
Join our Marketing team as a Manager, Web Design and guide a talented group of creative professionals in crafting compelling visual experiences that drive results. In this role, you'll collaborate with the Creative Director to shape creative strategy, elevate visual storytelling, and ensure exceptional design execution across all marketing channels. You'll provide creative direction and mentorship to designers while developing effective campaigns that support our business goals.

Key responsibilities include defining and implementing design vision, leading creative development from concept to execution, overseeing design workflows, and ensuring brand consistency. You'll art direct photo and video shoots, contribute hands-on design work across various platforms, and stay current with emerging creative trends and technologies, including AI. This role offers an opportunity to make an impact while developing your leadership skills and delivering outstanding creative work.

LOCATION: On-site in Pittsburgh, PA. Relocation assistance is NOT provided.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Advanced Degree plus 6 years of experience, or Bachelor's Degree plus 8 years of experience in creative or marketing environment (agency or in-house), including 2+ years leading design teams
  • Preferred Fields of Study: Design, Marketing, or related field
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating digital, print, and cross-platform work
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, and Microsoft Office
  • Expert knowledge of visual design, UX/UI principles, and responsive design standards
  • Experience with web development fundamentals (HTML/CSS/JS) and their design implications
  • Proven expertise in print production, photography, and video direction
  • Proficiency with creative tools including Workfront, Jira, Confluence, Slack, and InVision
  • Experience with design systems, creative operations, and process optimization
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing strategy and campaign development
  • Excellent leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong delegation, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Solutions-focused approach with commitment to design innovation and creative storytelling
