Your Role
· Manage execution of SEZ and EOU Tasks end to end including import clearances (duty payment or exempt), DTA procurements, DSPF (service invoices), DTA sale/E-waste, periodic performance reports, liaison with SEZ and EOU officials whenever required, DGFT Compliances - RCMC, IEC Modification, etc.
· Support SEZ and EOU exit processes throughout this year end to end for Invesco legal entity.
· Manage coordination with diverse group of stakeholders, managing process updates/changes.
· Deal with escalation(s) and resolve issues escalated by Compliance team and stakeholders.
Provide thought leadership, strategy and management over the activities and processes assigned.
Aiding with the implementation of procedures and controls designed to ensure Invesco remains compliant with external regulatory standards set by the provisions of applicable rules and regulations.
Proactively escalate critical matters and partner with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution
Function as subject matter expert in resolving complex situations in day-to-day tasks.
Execute any other tasks assigned by Compliance Team related to Compliance policies, labour regulations, etc.
The Experience and Skills You Bring
More than 8 years of relevant Compliance experience in SEZ regulation and other similar regulations in India
Knowledge of investment management business including Mutual Fund products and regulatory requirements is preferable.
Experience in maintaining robust compliance operating model.
Experience in analyzing business or technical problems, proposing, and implementing solutions.
Demonstrated success in leading change projects.
Knowledge of compliance regulatory requirements combined with strong quantitative, analytical and project management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills include ability to deliver presentations to influence senior decision makers.
· Ability to react positively under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
