This position supports the development and execution of go‑to‑market plans, product launches, and evergreen marketing initiatives that reinforce Mystery Ranch’s credibility and leadership within mission‑driven categories. Qualified candidates are highly organized, execution‑focused, and able to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment. This individual will serve as a trusted execution partner to the Senior Manager, Category Marketing , turning strategy and product direction into fully realized marketing outputs.
The ideal candidate is a self‑starter who is comfortable managing multiple workstreams, has sharp attention to detail, and brings equal rigor to operational execution and creative collaboration. A positive attitude, curiosity, and a roll‑up‑your‑sleeves mindset are essential to succeeding in this role.
Responsibilities
Support the Senior Manager, Category Marketing in the planning and execution of product launches and seasonal campaigns across Fire, Military, and EDC categories.
Partner with Product Management to translate product features, materials, fit & sizing, and use cases into clear, customer‑facing marketing content and launch briefs.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with Creative, Content, Web, CRM, Sales, and Operations teams to ensure launches are supported across key marketing and sales channels.
Author and manage marketing briefs, timelines, and documentation to ensure clarity, alignment, and on‑time delivery of assets.
Track launch readiness and proactively identify execution gaps, recommending solutions to improve quality, efficiency, or timelines.
Support the development of product education materials and marketing assets to enable successful product storytelling across consumer and sales touchpoints.
Coordinate creative asset needs (photography, video, written content, spec sheets) to support launches, evergreen marketing, and sales enablement.
Gather feedback from cross‑functional partners and incorporate learnings into future launches and campaign execution.
Help maintain consistency, accuracy, and brand alignment across marketing deliverables.
Identify opportunities to streamline marketing processes and improve executional efficiency across the category.
Qualifications and Attributes
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
2+ years of experience in brand, product, or integrated marketing roles.
Experience supporting product launches and multi‑channel marketing execution.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Clear written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently under general direction and resolve non‑routine challenges.
Detail‑oriented with a passion for product storytelling and brand accuracy.
Experience within technical, outdoor, military, or performance‑driven brands is a plus.
Curiosity, grit, and a strong sense of craft and taste.
