Job Duties: Utilize proprietary economic and statistical frameworks and models to generate market insights, assess competitor dynamics, and inform overall decision making. Develop expertise across BlackRock's operating platform and the capital markets ecosystem to understand and identity opportunities for application of economic theories and technological innovation. Leverage financial models and economic concepts to evaluate new commercial and product opportunities. Conduct digital assets and macroeconomic research to share with clients and internal stakeholders. Develop and maintain insightful content in written and visual forms capable of analyzing economic issues, articulating economic strategy, and educating audiences. Present educational and strategic content, with emphasis on distilling technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and clients. Engage with and evaluate technology providers and data vendors throughout the digital assets ecosystem. Help support BlackRock's digital asset activities globally, working closely with business and technical teams.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Economics or related field, and 24 months of experience in the job offered, or closely related role. Position requires two years of experience in the following: Data Analytics, Visualization, and Quantitative Storytelling using PowerPoint and Figma; Financial, Statistical and Economic modeling using Excel, STATA, or R; Capital markets analysis using tools including FactSet; Macroeconomic research; and Blockchain data analysis including Coin Metrics, Dune Analytics, and Glassnode.

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$157,000.00 - USD$194,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
