Group 1001 was founded in 2013 with the purchase of an annuity portfolio from Sun Life Financial and has had several acquisitions over the past decade including Guggenheim Life and Annuity Co. in 2021. The Investment Management division currently has $41.2b AUM and consists of a team of 24 based in Waltham, MA and NYC. The company itself has 1,500 employees in seven offices nationwide, the majority based in Zionsville, IN and Waltham, MA. Areas of investment focus include ABS & CLOs (public and private), NAV-based financings, lender finance, commercial mortgages, asset origination platform investments, and private credit.
The NY team recently opened a search for an Associate specializing in Asset Based Finance. The role would report to a senior MD and work day-to-day with a small team within the larger investment team.
