Associate Accountant

Robinson is looking for an Associate Accountant to join our team in Monterrey, where you will directly support the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations, helping ensure the organization’s financial health from day one. In this role, you’ll handle core accounting activities such as reconciliations, invoice processing, and financial reporting that keep our business running smoothly.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Follows standard operating procedures to ensure compliance 

  • Executes daily general ledger accounting operations 

  • Reconciles accounts in month end closing process  

  • Keeps records of account entries by compiling and analyzing accounting activities 

  • Supports and executes internal controls 

  • Coordinates accounting matters with peers 

  • Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff 

  • Assists with the preparation of reports such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other documents that project the organization's financial position 

  • Supports the coordination of financial statements for completeness, accuracy, and compliance 

  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university 

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs 

  • Fluent English
