What success looks like in this role:
Absolute Endpoint – Associate Principal Engineer
Subject Matter Expert with 8+ years of relevant experience having in-depth knowledge of Design, implantation, transformation and support administration surrounding the Process supporting the business for End-User Enabled Security technologies/initiatives. The candidate should have a solid understanding of IT Security, Risk Management, vulnerability assessment and information security compliance initiatives which mitigates threats to the business. This will be demonstrated by a combination of work experience, training, and certification programs.
Develops and maintains technical solutions that adhere to engineering and architectural design principles while meeting business requirements. Provides technical expertise with a focus on efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security; includes planning, evaluating, recommending, designing, operationalizing, and supporting solutions in compliance with enterprise and industry standards.
Role Description:
Define, engineer, and design Enterprise-wide Absolute platforms and their corresponding management policies Define, engineer, and design support and control mechanisms for all such platforms including endpoint policy. Assess and select product capabilities and features, ensure multiple technologies are not providing overlapping capabilities, driving down technology complexity, and driving cost reductions. Create high level design documents, including estimated hardware, detailed program specifications, and resourcing costs. Interface with the security controls and risk teams. Provide 3rd level consultation requests and support. Planning, Design, Implement & Integrate EPS architecture (includes different Technical Platforms). Should mentor team in day-to-day operations and handle escalations People management skills such as delivering complete service delivery for EP Security Services. Providing business improvement solutions to clients and execution skills. Create, Maintain documentations up to date following documentation guidelines policy. Create Maintain Best Practices documents for Security Services and maintain Knowledge base.

You will be successful in this role if you have:
BA/BS degree and 8-10 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in implementing and managing Absolute Endpoint software
EDR – Microsoft ATP/Defender, Carbon Black, CrowdStrike, Symantec Endpoint Protection
Encryption – Bit locker, MBAM
Secondary Skills
McAfee Total Protection for Endpoint – ePO, Agent, VSE, HIPS, ENS
Trend Micro – OSCE, TMCM, Deep Security, Apex One
Kaspersky Endpoint Security
Microsoft SCEP/Defender
Access Control – Avecto
Application Control – Solid Core, McAfee Application Control
Symantec/McAfee NAC
Certifications:
Certification on ITIL Foundation, Symantec Endpoint Protection and/or McAfee Total Protection for Endpoint. Certification on CISSP, CISA, PMP, Prince2 would be added advantage.
Communication & Documentation:-
Excellent communication (Written & Verbal), customer handling skills & Documentation skills.
