Job Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Feliciano School of Business at Montclair State University invites applications for a one-year, full-time non-tenure-track Business Statistics faculty position starting August 28, 2026.

Ideal candidates for this position will have both professional experience in industry and teaching experience at the university level. Preference for this position will be given to candidates who can demonstrate teaching/professional experience in Business Statistics.  The candidate selected will be expected to teach courses at undergraduate and graduate levels in both face-to-face and online delivery modes.

The position is a one-year, ten-month, non-tenure-track faculty appointment.

Nearly 105 full-time faculty and 35 staff members bring an impressive range of expertise to the School, with terminal degrees and advanced training from leading universities. The Department of Information Management & Business Analytics offers a BS in Business Analytics and a BS in Business Administration with concentrations in Management Information Systems, a minor in Business Analytics, and MS in Business Analytics. The department also supports the MBA Program, teaching both required (core and concentration-specific) and elective graduate courses.       

QUALIFICATIONS:

 Qualified candidates must hold a master’s degree in statistics, business analytics, data science or a related field, with practical experience in applied statistics, business analytics or related fields.  Demonstrated excellence in teaching statistics or related courses, evidenced by peer and student evaluations, is preferred.

Salary Range

$80,436.03-$90,492.43 Annually
