What you’ll be doing
New Hire/Department transfer Activities, Department introductions/tour and facility tours (new hires only).
Creation of employees audit/tracker
Ensure training is completed and documented administrative Activities
Maintains training audit/trackers for each job classification
Maintains training audit/trackers for revision changes (employees names by job)
Maintains training records (both paper and electronic)
Works with Department Manager & trainers to monitor and track employee’s development and overall effectiveness of training.
Works with the Department Administrative assistant to Maintain the training matrix and the training files for each individual employee (while employee is in training)
Department Training
Ensure new hire/job transfer/new job trainings are conducted.
Participate in training
Ensure Revision changes are trained
Organize and conduct other training as needed.
Works with the Facility Training Coordinator to develop instructional aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multi-medical visual aids, and reference work as needed.
Communicate with floor trainers to ensure adequate training has been conducted and to offer assistance when/where necessary.
Perform Assistant Supervisor responsibilities over assigned area which include day-to-day oversight, management of employee relations issues, escalation of issues to department leadership, etc.
What you’ll bring:
High School diploma or GED (AAS preferred), with good math and reading skills. Prior training and Floater experience preferred.
Working knowledge of medical device regulations is a plus. Knowledge and working application of FDA cGMP; ANSI/ISO/ASQC; CMCAS requirements. Broad and clear working application of defined work instructions and procedures.
Provide leadership during often stressful production demands, demonstrates team work and cooperation.
Supports employee and team performance; motivates employees by setting a positive example.
Good demonstrative and verbal communication skills.
Patient and able to impart concepts and knowledge in a clear and understood way. Professional, positive attitude toward all employees
Must have computer experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, email, or any other database programs.
Excellent organizational and Presentation skills. Attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and work as part of a cross functional team. Relate and work well with people
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand and walk the production line(s) for much of the work day. Additionally, this employee is required to work at line workstations as a fill in as needed. The employee must have good hand to eye coordination and dexterity to assemble products.
Ability to: stand or walk for long periods, lift and carry at least 20 pounds, perform repetitive motions with hands/fingers.
Physical Requirements: Dynamic Lifting capability: Must have the ability to lift and carry 15 pounds from floor to shoulder and lift 2 pounds from shoulder to overhead. Must also have the capability to push and pull a maximum force of 6 pounds.

This is a manufacturing environment regulated by the FDA and many other work rules to prevent damage to the product we manufacture. Some of those work rules include but are not limited to:
Wearing an ESD protective smock at all times while in the manufacturing work area
Wearing a ground wrist strap and plugging that wrist strap into the working table.
Working in close proximity to other employees.
Working in an environment that is temperature and humidity controlled.
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The salary range for this position is $54,400 - $74,800. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
