Summary of Primary Functions: Provides support to Project Managers in the coordination and execution of precast concrete projects by assisting with project planning, scheduling, documentation, and stakeholder communication to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.
- Responsible for assisting in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of precast concrete projects from inception to completion.
- Responsible for collaborating with engineering, production, and erection teams to ensure seamless workflow and project execution.
- Responsible for monitoring project progress and address issues to maintain timelines.
- Responsible for maintaining project records, including contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and meeting minutes.
- Responsible for assisting in the preparation of project reports and updates for clients and internal teams as well as assisting in ensuring the Tindall PMP process is followed.
- Responsible for tracking and managing project-specific documentation to ensure compliance and organization.
- Responsible for supporting budget preparation and monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Responsible for assisting with tracking labor, material, and field costs to identify variances and address potential overruns.
- Responsible for processing and managing invoices, subcontractor payments, and change orders.
- Responsible for assisting in creating and updating project schedules to ensure production, delivery, and installation align with project timelines.
- Responsible for coordinating with the production and erection teams to ensure timely delivery and site readiness.
- To serve as a liaison between the Project Manager, production teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Responsible for attending and assisting in project meetings, providing detailed follow-ups and actionable items.
- Responsible for responding to client and stakeholder inquiries, professionally and promptly.
- Responsible for supporting project teams in ensuring work meets quality standards, specifications, and safety regulations.
- Providing assistance in resolving field issues and collaborate with site supervisors to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- To aid in identifying project challenges early and assist in developing solutions to mitigate risks.
- Responsible for working with the team to resolve project-related conflicts and delays.
Job Specifications or Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Experience: 1–3 years of experience in project coordination or management within the construction or precast concrete industry.
Additional Skills:
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Autodesk Construction Cloud, MS Project, Smartsheets) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction processes, blueprints, and specifications.
