Job Description

Department Description: Client Operations (“CO”) offers investments, sales, marketing and client support services to Invesco’s clients through its global client communication platforms and its stewardship of centrally distributed data, e.g.

  • Product/client reporting
  • Client transition management into segregated and pooled funds
  • Bespoke reporting to clients, consultants and external data vendors
  • Key global distribution services business project management, controls and systems enhancement

Job Summary: The team will provide the Taiwan and AP business with excellent institutional client take-on/product launch support.

About the Role:

  • Work closely with clients, custodians or external transition managers as well as key internal partners, for example Sales, Client Relations, Investments, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Operations etc. to ensure the effective take-on of globally managed mandates that are primarily sourced from institutional clients within AP.
  • Work closely with trustees, administrators, custodians and key internal partners to launch products in the AP region.
  • Coordinate change management events such as the transition of existing institutional clients from one custodian to another or legal documentation amendments
  • Identify improvements in the above processes and recommend/implement (where possible) changes in those processes.

Requirement for the Role :

  • Require a university degree ideally in Accounting, Finance or Business area of concentration.·         
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in asset management industry or financial services firm, with transitions/onboarding experience highly desirable.
  • Good understanding/knowledge of: The asset management industry, All investment and support functions, e.g. Legal, Compliance, Investment, Operations etc. Unit trust and segregated account operations
  • Good written and verbal communication in English and Chinese.
  • Good interpersonal skills for liaison with internal departments team heads
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confidence to manage conference calls
  • Self-managing and proactively prioritize his/her work
  • Proactive attitude to change/implement new processes
  • Able to work under pressure and autonomously
  • Keen eye for accuracy and detail
  • Strong team player
  • Securities Investment Trust & Consulting Professionals OR Senior Broker License
