You will report to the Director of Merchandising and help develop and execute merchandising strategies for our brick‑and‑mortar stores. You will help build compelling retail assortments, maintain strong in‑store product presentation standards, and support day‑to‑day merchandising operations that drive sales, maximize inventory productivity, and delight our customers.
You are collaborative, detail‑oriented, consumer-obsessed, and passionate about bringing the Beyond Yoga brand to life in physical retail environments.
Help create store‑specific assortment strategies that reflect regional needs, sales trends, and product opportunities.
Maintain line plans for retail stores, ensuring accuracy in style, color, and size flow.
Support in-season management by analyzing store performance data and making recommendations on replenishment, chase, and markdown opportunities.
Ensure sample accuracy, organization, and availability for store floor sets, line reviews, and merchant meetings.
Support the creation and distribution of floor set directives, visual line lists, product knowledge, and merchandising tools for stores.
Maintain product data accuracy in retail systems, including SKU setup, pricing, attributes, and seasonal updates.
Track and communicate product launches, deliveries, and merchandising priorities to cross‑functional partners and store teams.
Help manage inventory flow to stores to support presentation standards and seasonal stories.
Conduct regular market research—store visits, competitive shops, trend analysis—to support assortment recommendations.
Monitor latest trends in activewear and lifestyle retail and bring insights to the merchandising team.
Prepare weekly and seasonal product performance reports to support business recaps and strategy discussions.
Help prepare materials for line reviews, hindsight meetings, and cross‑functional presentations.
Provide general administrative support to the merchandising organization.
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field.
2+ years of merchandising experience in the retail or apparel industry.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
Detail‑driven, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast‑paced environment.
Passion for product, retail, and understanding the customer.
Collaborative mindset
This is a hybrid work schedule based in our Culver City, CA headquarters. You will be expected in office 3 days per week typically Tuesday-Thursday. Note, time in office can vary depending on business needs.
The expected starting salary range for this role is $69,000 - $90,000 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
