The NTU-University Scholars Programme (NTU-USP) is a premier academic initiative committed to developing creative, reflective, and globally engaged scholars. This role supports curriculum, overseas learning, outreach, student leadership development, and major programme initiatives within NTU-USP.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseas Learning & Administration
Support the administration of overseas learning programmes, including SOP updates, student advisory, course matching, application processing, and placement coordination with partner universities.
Monitor global travel conditions and support risk and safety processes.
Manage study abroad funding and prepare required statistical and programme reports.
Outreach, Communications & Publicity
Lead the development and execution of outreach and communication campaigns to enhance NTU-USP’s visibility and recruitment efforts.
Manage all publicity platforms, including the website, intranet, e-newsletters, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, blogs, and printed collaterals.
Produce high-quality marketing and publicity materials such as videos, brochures, posters, and event content.
Organise and support large-scale outreach and engagement events (e.g. roadshows, information sessions, community engagement events).
Student Club & Student Leadership Development
Serve as the primary staff advisor to the NTU-USP Club, guiding activity proposals, programme planning, and student leadership development.
Support the execution of 10–15 student-led activities annually, ensuring compliance, safety, and alignment with programme goals.
Track and manage the Club’s budget, providing governance and financial oversight.
Work closely with the student leaders to build a strong student community and enhance student life within NTU-USP.
External Partnerships & Alumni Relations
Coordinate visits and engagements with local and international universities, government agencies, schools, and industry partners.
Support alumni engagement activities and maintain alumni records and communication channels.
Strengthen networks that support study abroad placements, programme collaborations, and alumni involvement.
Other Responsibilities
Maintain and update the programme website and intranet.
Support special projects such as USC Family Day, Town Hall, Retreats, Leadership Speaker Series, and Scholars Symposium.
Undertake any other duties as assigned to support NTU-USP’s academic and student development mission.
Requirements:
Degree holder with 2–3 years of relevant experience.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and manage varied responsibilities.
Good written and spoken communication skills; able to produce clear and professional communication.
Proactive team player with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
Comfortable working closely with undergraduate students and student organisations.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications, presentation tools, and social media platforms.
