[What the role is]
We are seeking a professional responsible for delivering high-quality IT support, administering digital systems, and driving process improvements across the School of Business. The role involves overseeing technical operations, enhancing digital workflows, supporting admissions processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve institutional objectives.
[What you will be working on]
Technical Support & Systems Administration
- Lead the delivery and optimisation of technical support for virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), academic software, and IT equipment.
- Oversee user support operations, including software installation, troubleshooting, and the development of user guides and documentation.
- Administer SaaS platforms, managing user access, permissions, and compliance with IT policies.
- Manage vendor relationships, including escalation handling, system upgrades, service-level monitoring, and coordination of technical improvements.
Process Improvements and Digitalisation
- Drive initiatives in workflow automation and digital transformation using platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, or equivalent tools.
- Lead or support the development of dashboards and visualisation tools to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Evaluate, redesign, and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and stakeholder experience.
Admissions & Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate administrative processes for the Early Admissions Exercise (EAE), ensuring timely communication with students, parents, and internal stakeholders.
- Work closely with academic departments to ensure accurate and efficient processing of EAE applications.
- Manage and optimise SaaS systems used in admissions workflows, ensuring data integrity, system readiness, and user support.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Participate in, and lead when required, school-wide or institution-wide initiatives and cross-functional projects.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support institutional goals and improve integrated service delivery.
[What we are looking for]
- Tertiary education with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Proficiency in digital tools, such as SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, Power Automate and data visualization tools.
- Experience with SaaS platforms used in education or operations, preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders, including students.
- Analytical and troubleshooting abilities, with attention to detail.
- Strong time management and organisational skills, capable of juggling multiple tasks and timelines effectively.
- Comfortable working both independently and in teams.
