Job Title: Assistant Project Manager – ELV

Location: Dholera, Gujarat
Experience: 5–7 Years
Employment Type: Full‑time
Reporting To: Project Manager – ELV

Role Overview

The Assistant Project Manager – ELV will support the Project Manager in day‑to‑day project execution, site supervision, coordination, and reporting for ELV projects. The role requires strong on‑site presence, coordination with clients and vendors, and hands‑on understanding of ELV systems and installation standards to ensure timely and quality project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Site Supervision

  • Support the Project Manager in daily site execution activities for ELV projects.
  • Supervise on‑site installation works and ensure adherence to approved drawings, standards, and schedules.
  • Monitor daily tasks and progress to ensure milestones are achieved as planned.

Coordination & Communication

  • Coordinate with client representatives, consultants, and site engineers on a regular basis.
  • Act as a link between site teams, vendors, subcontractors, and the Project Manager.
  • Follow up with vendors and subcontractors for timely material supply and work completion.

Scheduling & Manpower Management

  • Assist in project scheduling, activity tracking, and task monitoring.
  • Supervise site manpower, ensure productivity, and report manpower deployment status.

Material Management

  • Track material requirements, deliveries, and consumption at site.
  • Ensure materials are issued and utilized as per project needs and BOQ.
  • Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery and resolve material‑related issues.

ELV Systems Knowledge

  • Good understanding of ELV systems including:
    • CCTV & Surveillance Systems
    • Access Control Systems (ACS)
    • Fire Alarm Systems (FAS)
    • Public Address (PA) Systems
    • Basic BMS, Structured Cabling, and Networking
  • Ensure installations follow standard practices, OEM guidelines, and safety norms.

Drawings & Documentation

  • Ability to read, understand, and interpret shop drawings, GA layouts, and schematics.
  • Support preparation and updating of as‑built drawings.
  • Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports to the Project Manager.

Budgeting & Reporting Support

  • Assist in basic budget tracking, BOQ verification, and documentation.
  • Maintain site records, checklists, and execution documentation.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to site safety norms, quality standards, and statutory requirements.
  • Report safety issues, risks, and deviations to the Project Manager promptly.

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong coordination and site supervision skills.
  • Good communication and reporting abilities.
  • Basic understanding of project controls (cost, time, quality).
  • Ability to work independently on site with minimal supervision.
  • Problem‑solving mindset and attention to detail.

Educational Qualification

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering discipline.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in industrial, infrastructure, or large commercial ELV projects.
  • Hands‑on exposure to multi‑system ELV site execution.

Key Deliverables

  • Effective site supervision and coordination.
  • Accurate and timely progress reporting.
  • Support in achieving project timelines and quality standards.
