Position Summary
Role and Responsibilities
· Collaborate closely with engineering teams and factory sites to define product roadmaps, develop new product strategies, and ensure lifecycle management of existing products.
· Drive product positioning by combining engineering insight with market intelligence to translate customer requirements into product specifications.
· Act as the key interface between Channel Sales, Trade, OEMs, factory operations, and supply chain teams, ensuring alignment on product availability, delivery timelines, quality assurance, and product phase-out planning.
· Conduct in-depth market and business analysis, including competitor benchmarking, cost-performance evaluation, and ROI modeling for product portfolio decisions.
· Lead product launch initiatives, including go-to-market strategies, pricing, channel programs, and promotional activities.
· Provide technical product training and deliver engineering-driven product knowledge to sales teams, consultants, contractors, and end-users, focusing on HVAC systems, building automation controls, and energy efficiency solutions.
· Partner with engineering and service teams to ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.
· Monitor HVAC market trends, sustainability standards (e.g., green building certifications, refrigerant regulations), and customer insights to identify innovation opportunities.
· Prepare product documentation, technical manuals, and application guidelines to support internal teams and external partners.
Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; Master’s Degree in Engineering Management, MIM, or MBA is preferable.
· Minimum of 5–7 years’ experience in HVAC industry, including proven track record in product marketing, product management, or system engineering.
· Strong technical background with understanding of chiller systems, VRF, AHU, FCU, and building automation integration.
· Demonstrated ability to manage a full product marketing mix for highly technical products.
· In-depth knowledge of competitor technologies, system applications, and product performance metrics.
· Strong understanding of HVAC market trends, sustainability requirements, and evolving customer needs.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills, with ability to convey complex engineering concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis; familiarity with CAD tools or product simulation software is an advantage.
