[What the role is]

As the Senior Manager / Manager (Global Partnerships) in the Global Partnerships and Engagement Division, you will be responsible for advancing the agency’s international, and bilateral relations with overseas counterparts and stakeholders.

You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment that would require the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders at the same time.

[What you will be working on]

Strategic & Analytical Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic approaches for assigned bilateral and multilateral partners, including building networks with counterparts and conducting research to support relationship building and engagement

  • Analyse regional and thematic developments affecting assigned partnerships to inform strategic positioning

  • Track partnership trends and identify emerging opportunities within assigned portfolio to inform strategic planning

  • Conduct performance evaluation and assessment of assigned partnerships, MOUs and collaborative agreements

  • Develop recommendations on engagement approaches for assigned accounts, including input for senior leadership engagements

Operational & Implementation Responsibilities

  • Manage regular operations for assigned bilateral or multilateral portfolio such as facilitating discussions with internal and external partners and work on MOU development, implementation, and monitoring processes, including documentation and administrative support

  • Prepare briefing materials, talking points, and background papers for senior leadership engagements

  • Coordinate operational aspects of high-level visits including planning support, logistics coordination, and follow-up activities

  • Support cross-divisional coordination on technical cooperation initiatives within assigned portfolio areas

  • Participate in project teams and contribute to deliverables that meet agency requirements

[What we are looking for]

  • Preferrably 2 years of relevant experience in international relations dealing with bilateral and multilateral accounts

  • A keen interest in Singapore's communicable diseases policies, global health issues and international affairs

  • Meticulous individual with strong analytical competency

  • Resilient individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

  • Team player who is self-motivated to initiate and see through projects

  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Background in public health and international relations or related disciplines will be an advantage

  • Willingness to travel overseas for work
