Job Description:
A very exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of a newly created, dedicated Inventory Integrity function. You will be 100% field based across the EMEA geography and spend most of your time visiting our Supply Chain engaged customers, where we hold Vendor Managed Inventory. You will be performing counts/audits on behalf of Arrow, to meet our legal and regulatory requirements for inventory auditing, as well as to focus on keeping inventory risk to a minimum. Arrow offers Supply Chain Solutions to some of the most prestigious names in electronics. Your role is to ensure that where we store our inventory at our external Supply Chain partner locations, we do so in a compliant, efficient way, that matches what was contractually agreed, and minimises financial loss for Arrow, through optimal inventory handling processes and best in class counting and auditing.
What You Will Be Doing at Arrow?
- In close cooperation with the Supply Chain Operations team, plan an efficient cycle of inventory counts and audits throughout the year, at Arrow’s customer locations, where Arrow owned inventory is stored.
- Perform robust, efficient and SOX/finance compliant counts of Arrow owned inventory at customer locations and report back results to the internal team.
- Participate in post count reconciliation activities, driving towards a compliant, accurate and fully documented result for each location, always targeting zero financial loss caused by poor inventory handling.
- Provide internal feedback about customer operational handling of Arrow owned inventory and make recommendations that keep the highest inventory integrity, at all times.
- Root cause analysis and corrective actions for inventory discrepancies
What Are We Looking For?
- English language fluency
- European language abilities would be an advantage. Arrow has offsite inventory in most European countries, but Italian, French and Spanish would have distinct advantages for this position.

- The unrestricted right to travel freely within and across EU borders
- Previous experience from a logistics/warehouse/inventory control area would be an advantage.
- Understanding of warehouse storage systems and methodology
- Appreciation of SOX controls and how inventory records impact financial statements
- Ability to work and think independently.
- A laser sharp attention to detail and curiosity to get to the root of a problem is essential, while appreciating that you will be at customer sites and representing Arrow in your actions and words.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proven track record of strong work ethic and customer service
- Expert organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
What is in it For You?
- Permanent contract.
- Competitive salary and benefits package
- Travel expenses fully paid.
- Company car
- Flexibility – remote working, either from home office or an Arrow location of your choice, when not on site with customers.
