Assistant Manager Lab Operation

You will lead and coordinate laboratory operations that ensure quality, safety and compliance. You will work closely with production, quality, engineering and suppliers to deliver timely testing, calibration and validation. Responsibilities
This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Plan, coordinate and perform routine testing of raw materials, in-process samples and finished products to meet quality standards.

  • Maintain accurate laboratory records, test reports and data integrity for audits and regulatory needs.

  • Lead equipment calibration, preventive maintenance and qualification activities to ensure reliable operations.

  • Support development, review and implementation of standard operating procedures and test methods.

  • Investigate out-of-specification or atypical results and support corrective and preventive actions.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to improve laboratory processes and support validation and commissioning activities.

Basic Qualification
We are seeking professionals with the following required skills and qualifications to help us achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biology or related science discipline.

  • 3 to 5 years of laboratory experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech or related regulated industry.

  • Practical experience in routine analytical or microbiological testing.

  • Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and basic regulatory requirements.

  • Proficiency with MS Office applications and familiarity with laboratory information systems or electronic records.

  • Strong written and verbal communication with accurate documentation skills.


Preferred Qualification
If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Experience with validation activities: equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), method validation or cleaning validation.

  • Hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation and calibration practices.

  • Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems for inventory and sample management.

  • Previous involvement in investigations, CAPA implementation, or internal audits.

  • Knowledge of environmental monitoring and water systems testing.

  • Commitment to continuous improvement and quality culture, with attention to detail.
