Job Description Summary:
Role Purpose
The Associate will lead the maintenance function of a Coca-Cola concentrate manufacturing plant in Pune, ensuring high reliability, efficiency, and compliance across all equipment and utilities. The role requires strong technical expertise, proven experience in TPM implementation, and the ability to drive a KPI-based maintenance culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance Strategy & Execution
- Drive OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) improvement through structured loss elimination initiatives.
- Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs (PM, CBM, PdM) to maximize equipment availability and reliability through SAP PM.
- Lead implementation of world-class maintenance systems including PM, spares management, breakdown analysis, CAPA / RCA, 5S, and digital tools.
- TPM Leadership
- Champion Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) pillars, ensuring deployment across maintenance and production teams.
- Provide hands-on support in autonomous maintenance, focused improvement, and planned maintenance pillars.
- Lead cross-functional TPM workshops and audits to build a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
- Technical Expertise
- Ensure effective troubleshooting and optimization of automation, controls, and instrumentation systems with a focus on Rockwell platform (PLC, SCADA, HMI, Drives).
- Ensure uptime of all MEP systems in the plant (liquid processing, liquid filling, dry processing & filling)
- Support utility systems (HVAC, boilers, chillers, compressors, water treatment) to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- KPI & Performance Management
- Establish and track key maintenance KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, spare parts consumption, PM compliance, energy efficiency, and maintenance cost per unit.
- Drive cost optimization through effective spare parts inventory management, vendor negotiations, and Opex control.
- Project Execution (Desirable)
- Provide technical support in engineering and Capex projects, including installation, commissioning, and validation of new equipment.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure equipment selection aligns with long-term maintenance strategies.
- People & Stakeholder Management
- Lead and develop a skilled maintenance team through training, coaching, and succession planning.
- Partner with production, quality, and EHS functions to ensure integrated operations.
- Build strong vendor and OEM relationships for technical support and service excellence.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Automation, Controls, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Electrical Engineering from a Tier 1 / Tier 2 institution.
- 10–12 years of experience in maintenance functions within Beverage, FMCG, Automobile, or similar high-speed manufacturing domains.
- Proven track record in TPM deployment and implementation, preferably across multiple sites.
- Strong working knowledge of Rockwell automation platforms and related industrial control systems.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing structured maintenance systems (PM, spares management, breakdown analysis, RCA, 5S).
- KPI-driven mindset with experience in Opex management and cost control.
- Exposure to brownfield projects will be an advantage.
