What this job involves:

This position plans, coordinates, and oversees fleet operations and vehicle maintenance to ensure safe and efficient transportation services for the organization's employees while managing daily transport routes and operations. You will ensure efficient utilization of vehicles and optimal performance of routes while overseeing vehicle maintenance, repairs, and fitness certifications to ensure roadworthiness and adherence to all relevant safety regulations. This role contributes to JLL's business objectives by supervising, training, and managing drivers and transport staff, serving as point of contact for transport-related queries, monitoring operational data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality, and ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreement established between Jones Lang LaSalle and Amazon while prioritizing safety and service quality in all transportation operations.

What your day-to-day will look like:

• Plan, schedule, and manage daily transport routes and operations while ensuring efficient utilization of vehicles and optimal route performance
• Oversee vehicle maintenance, repairs, and fitness certifications to ensure roadworthiness while conducting regular vehicle inspections for road safety standards compliance
• Ensure adherence to all relevant safety regulations including government body requirements while assisting transport leads in implementing site risk management programs
• Supervise, train, and manage drivers and other transport staff while maintaining discipline, monitoring performance, and ensuring accountability within transport team
• Serve as point of contact for transport-related queries while coordinating with vendors or logistics providers for special events, excursions, or deliveries
• Monitor operational data and identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and service quality while effectively using technology for route planning
• Carry out critical issue and incident reporting procedures while ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreement between JLL and Amazon.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with 2-5 years experience in transportation or facilities management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with program management experience
• Knowledge of transportation demand management principles and fleet management software proficiency
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience using transport management software/tools
• Strong knowledge of administration, facilities, and transport management principles with proficiency in fleet planning
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills with ability to handle customers, analyze data, and resolve conflicts
• Understanding of safety regulations and vehicle compliance standards with ability to conduct inspections and maintain certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience coordinating with vendors and logistics providers for special events and deliveries
• Background in implementing and maintaining site risk management programs including audits
• Knowledge of route optimization techniques and operational improvement methodologies
• Experience with performance analysis and data monitoring for efficiency improvements
• Understanding of incident reporting procedures and critical issue management
• Background in driver supervision, training programs, and transport team accountability measures
• Experience ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements in transportation operations.
