Assistant Manager (Campus Security)/ Estates and Facilities Management
[What you will be working on]
- Stay abreast of advancements in security technologies, including CCTV, access control, facial recognition, video analytics, 3D visualisation, AI, security robots, and perimeter monitoring.
- Integrate operational and technological functions (Ops-Tech) to support comprehensive incident investigations and security operations.
- Oversee, maintain, and operate the Security Visualisation Platform (SVP) and Facial Recognition & Video Analytics (FRVA) systems; conduct regular audits for system availability and contractual compliance.
- Ensure operational readiness of CCTV and Access Card Systems through routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Initiate upgrades and modernisation of ageing security systems and infrastructure.
- Contribute to project teams for new implementations, from conceptualisation and feasibility studies (including ROI analysis) to design, tendering, and completion.
- Provide expert consultation on security technology requirements for events, campus-wide exercises, and organisational projects.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on security planning for A&A and renovation projects; advise on tender specifications and coordinate implementation activities.
- Plan and coordinate security arrangements for major campus events (e.g., Open House, Graduation, Joint Admission Exercises), including officer deployment, crowd and traffic control, car park management, and VIP support.
- Lead planning and execution of campus-wide security exercises and drills (e.g., shutdowns, Red Teaming, SGSecure, TOPSIS), including liaison with enforcement agencies (MHA/CPS, SPF, SCDF).
- Manage campus access rights for staff and students.
- Oversee daily campus security operations and outsourced security personnel; ensure compliance with established standards through regular audits.
- Represent the department and serve as Secretariat for the TP TWSH Committee, including meeting coordination, minute-taking, safety inspections, and dissemination of safety information.
- Perform any other responsibilities assigned by management.
