About the Role

Job Description: 

Role:  Assistant Manager, Blending (Production)

Level: 6A

Reporting: Manager - Engineering, Asset Care & Maintenance

This role is responsible for the efficient Blending process, ensuring that quality standards are met while optimizing the blend output to meet consumer demands and regulatory requirements. The role encompasses managing resources, implementing safety protocols, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency. 

Qualification: M.Sc. with Alcohol Technology

Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience in Alco-Bev organizations/Bottling

Areas of Responsibility:

·       Blend re-engineering and changes as per requirements, related to BLIMP

·       Prepare revised formulations & approval

·       Implement methods recommended for liquidation of old & non-moving stocks

·       Production Planning & Execution: Implement, monitor, and review daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules; track line-wise output, drive productivity improvements through optimal capacity utilization, and ensure on-time, cost-effective production.

·       Operational Reliability & Problem Solving: Plan production priorities and manage maintenance and line downtimes to minimize disruptions; analyses production, maintenance, and breakdown data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.

·       Productivity & Innovation: Conduct motion, method, and time studies to optimize manpower and introduce innovative practices to reduce utility consumption and improve overall operational efficiency.

·       Work out ENA component & Blend cost and approval of e-start-up's for commercialization

·       Co-ordinate with SAP & approve new material codes creation, extension of material to new 
units, Blend BOM creation & approvals, Blend & SKU codes creation.

Key Accountability:

·        Quality Excellence: Ensures zero market complaints through robust quality systems, strong GFPS performance, and strict adherence to HACCP and GMP standards.

·       Safety & Compliance: Maintains zero LTAs and MTCs by driving SIRC, SBO adherence, regular safety audits, and a proactive safety culture.

·       Operational Efficiency: Delivers high ATP performance by minimizing wastages, reducing machine downtime, and embedding strong 5S and ManEx practices.

·       Continuous Improvement: Drives FI projects and performance reviews to sustain operational discipline, improve productivity, and enhance process reliability.

·       Ensure high quality production /material flow /housekeeping and conformance to Health, Safety & Environment standards and Quality Management.
