Company Representation

  • File and follow-up on applications, petitions, reports, requests and other processes with administrative (e.g., DOE, DENR, DOF) and regulatory (e.g., SEC, ERC) agencies.
  • Coordinate with administrative and regulatory agencies on the developments concerning applications, petitions, requests and other processes to ensure timely outcome
  • Explore and recommend means to efficiently manage the processes of external stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with the frontline bureaucracy of administrative and regulatory agencies.

Paralegal and Legal Assistance

  • Assist counsel in preparing minutes, certifications, resolutions, correspondence, contracts, pleadings, and other legal documents in connection with the assignments the counsel are handling
  • Gather information or research as directed by Immediate Superior, which information includes issuances, quick research, and the like
  • Assist counsel in other functions, such as but not limited to, arranging the logistics of meetings with clients, preparing documents for intended activities such as due diligence, and taking notes of meetings or other proceedings
  • Coordinate with internal and external sources of information and data required in the preparation of various regular reports to the regulatory agencies such as the Annual Corporate Governance Report
  • Monitor available legal literature that will aid counsel in the performance of the latter’s functions.

Records-Keeping

  • Monitor the LRG Service Request Form log on a weekly basis and ensure that all client requests are immediately assigned.
  • Maintain a document management system for both physical and electronic documents and ensure that these are available for and accessible to counsel.

Administration Assistance

  • Prepare OPEX and CAPEX budget requirements
  • Prepare routine internal reports (including a monitor of service delivery progress) and presentation materials
  • Provide support to counsel in maintaining their professional requirements compliance (e.g., Mandatory Continuing Legal Education, maintenance of notarial commission, PTRs, etc.).
  • Provide support in the administration of the Company’s policies, including the implementation of human resources and financial services-related guidelines, e.g., expense reporting and SAP-updating (if specified), among others. 
  • Perform secretarial support to legal teams or counsel, as necessary.

General Responsibilities

  • Executes health, security, environmental and safety rules and regulations of the company;

  • Practices recommended behaviors that adhere to the core values of the company;

  • Implements and complies with company rules and policies; and

  • Performs other related duties that may be assigned (by superiors) from time to time.
