Responsibilities

  • Support the Director of Information Technology in managing the daily operations of the IT department.
  • Assist in maintaining the efficient operation of all hotel computer systems and data communications.
  • Provide technical support to hotel staff and guests, resolving IT issues and ensuring high levels of service and guest satisfaction.
  • Assist in addressing guest technology concerns, including HSIA support and event or conference technology needs.
  • Maintain professional relationships with all hotel departments and corporate teams while upholding company technology standards.
  • Support administrative users and help ensure service delivery aligns with established Service Level Agreements.
  • Assist in maintaining the 24/7 operation of critical hotel systems including PMS, POS, PABX, HSIA, and call accounting.
  • Perform systems administration tasks such as user account setup, configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Support server operations including monitoring performance, assisting with OS updates, backups, recovery procedures, and antivirus management.
  • Provide support for desktop operating systems, applications, patches, and communication platforms such as Microsoft tools and VPN access.
  • Assist in maintaining network infrastructure including wired and wireless networks, Active Directory, servers, firewalls, and failover systems.
  • Support additional hotel systems including back-office, sales and catering, and People & Culture platforms.
  • Assist with technology projects, upgrades, and corporate IT rollouts across the property.
  • Coordinate with vendors and help ensure compliance with company technology standards and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to provide on-site technical support; this position is not remote.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar IT support or hospitality technology role.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and networking skills; MCSE certification or equivalent technical expertise preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server environments, networking equipment, structured cabling, and PC/server hardware.
  • Familiarity with hospitality technology systems such as PMS, POS, HSIA, and related hotel applications preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to assist guests and train users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Provide operational coverage for mission-critical systems and support departmental leadership when senior IT management is unavailable.
  • Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in the United States.
