About the Job
Asst. Finance Manager’s main role is to supports the Head of Finance - India & Middle East, with a primary focus on tax matters including Direct Tax, Indirect Tax, and Transfer Pricing. The role is responsible for ensuring compliance with tax regulations and statutory requirements across the Middle East and India entities, while coordinating closely with the GBS team on transactional processes and financial reporting. The position also supports financial closing, internal controls, tax compliance, and statutory reporting activities.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities with GBS teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Prepare statutory financial statements for the Middle East entity and ensure compliance with local statutory and Group reporting requirements.
Manage VAT compliance, VAT audits, and VAT refund matters for the Dubai entity.
Support corporate tax and transfer pricing matters for the Dubai entity in collaboration with the tax team.
Support GST compliance in India, including data preparation, coordination with external consultants, and ensuring timely filing of statutory returns.
Manage TDS and TCS calculations, payments, and filings to ensure compliance for the India entities.
Support internal control processes (ICS), ICFR requirements, and internal audit activities.
Prepare cash flow statements, monitor operational cash requirements, collaborate with business teams on process improvements, and support the Head of Finance on ad hoc matters.
About You
We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance. Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in finance professional and at least 2 years in a similar role
Experienced in accounting and GST, preferably in a retail or FMCG environment
Familiarity with SAP (or similar ERP systems); project management experience is an advantage.
Strong analytical, communication, and numeracy skills.
