Job Description Summary

The Assistant Facilities Manager – Technical supports the day-to-day operational, technical, and maintenance activities of the facility. This role ensures the uptime, safety, and efficient functioning of all maintainance systems, critical equipment, and building infrastructure. The role also supervises technicians, coordinates contractors, and ensures compliance with standards and statutory regulations.

About the role:

  • Oversee operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical systems, UPS, DG sets, fire systems, plumbing, elevators, and BMS.

  • Ensure preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance schedules are executed on time.

  • Conduct routine inspections of building systems to ensure optimal performance.

  • Maintain updated maintenance logs, checklists, and technical

  • Supervise external vendors, AMC service providers, and contractors.

  • Coordinate minor repairs, breakdown resolutions, and infrastructure upgrades.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory norms such as electrical safety, fire safety, environmental standards, and equipment certifications.

  • Support the Facilities Manager in budgeting, cost control, and vendor management.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly technical reports for management.

About you:

  • Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related technical field

  • 3–7 years of experience in facility management or technical operations.

  • Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical distribution, UPS, DG, chillers, pumps, fire alarm systems, STP/ WTP.

  • Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS).
